I often hear how young friends and relatives trying to give their children everything they never had or always wanted but could not afford. And I wonder what is best for me to do - to stand on side and to learn lessons, or to step in and say please let me tell you about my mistakes - you can still correct yours.
But I make mistakes? My son and I are better people because both of what we learned from our journey. Today he has things that money can buy, such as car and television and computer. But far more important is that he has compassion and integrity and discretion and good humor, and money can not buy any of these things.
A Barbie doll can submit to sparkle in the eye of the girl, but fascinating study in the book will have a lasting effect. New bike will bring joy, but earn money to buy the wheel will bring determination and vision and passion.
I'd like to write a best seller good Parenting, but I fear it will have a lot input from experts. Do you know where can I find professionals?
